Dr. Seuss Day

unnamed (2)Early Start children enjoyed visits from “Seuss on the Loose”, a take-off from the popular “Elf on the Shelf” character that many families bring out for the holidays.  An anonymous note was delivered to the class that Monday to let the students know (in rhyme fashion of course) that a special visitor would be coming to their classroom for the week.  Seuss on the Loose visited daily and brought along many fun antics, such as hanging out on the top of the class projector, reading a story about the cat in the hat to other Seuss themed stuffed animals, eating a cupcake in a baby highchair with sprinkles and icing everywhere, even leaving in fashion with a parade.  The students had a blast and miss  “Seuss” already and have asked when he was coming back.
